Ingrid grew up in Vancouver & Calgary and has been active in the Estonian community since she can remember, attending Estonian language school, folk dance and rhythmic gymnastics.
Her education is in Business Administration where she has worked in film distribution and commercial real estate. Upon returning to Vancouver she has been a board member with the Vancouver Estonian Society, St. Peter’s Estonian Church and an organizer for Lääneraniku Eesti Päevad 2015 and EV100.
She is an active singer, dancer and baker, and partakes in cultural events within the Estonian & Scandinavian communities. In 2010 -2011 she lived in Estonia and studied at the University of Tartu.
The Estonian Central Council in Canada (ECC)/Eestlaste Kesknõukogu Kanadas (EKN) is a nationally elected council founded in 1951 that furthers the interests and development of the Canadian Estonian community.
